Japan: A humble and advanced society or just a huge trash can? I journeyed through East Asia and met the various oriental people with different cultures. I was very happy in Taiwan and I also felt very peaceful in China. In South Korea I felt impatience and well as extreme pride and I saw some stuff that made me feel weird but in general it was a good travelers experience.
Now, the moment I have been waiting for! I was so excited to go to Japan because I thought only the best of it. Advanced, humble and positive people, clean, influenced by Buddhism or the Shinto religion. People who were as homogeneous as the other Asians but open minded to a deep point (Taiwan wins that one). Land where anime comes from and advancement. Beautiful gardens. Instead, my dreams were shattered. This is what I encountered:
1. Porn, sex, orgies galore. I don't know if the men force the women into this or if the women just do it for the fun etc. but Japan, especially Tokyo has it everywhere. More than an average country. The American people there told me that the Japanese women were nothing but sperm buckets. I asked them what they meant and they said, Japan is famous for something called *******? What is the aids rate of that country? I also heard that the porn crew travels around the worlds to screw whatever!
2. Some of the men are extreme alcoholics. More so than the Korean whom I found to be very indulgent with alcohol. Those men drink like nobodies business. There's even beer in the vending machines. Can guys buy that?
3. Some Japanese admitted to me about their desire for drugs. They asked me if I ever did some and I said, no.
4. To me, it felt as if the women had no brains. They had no opinions. They just said yes to everything. Everything!
5. No religion or value system to hold them back. I felt no value there.
6. People spit. As much as in Korea and even in public areas such as subways etc.
7. A disrespect for foreigners but their level of dignity and what they like indulging in didn't matter. I mean, if they wanted something or someone foreign, fine! If a foreigner wanted something or someone Japanese, not fine!
I'm really sad to have ended off my trip like that. What I expected in my mind was not the same as real life. I'm really sorry but, I will be visiting East Asia, especially, Taiwan and China again (particularly Hong Kong) but Japan was just a huge disappointment.

Sad faces!!!!!!!!!! | Sad faces. If you don't like it, don't come back. Problem solved. Sorry you felt no value here. I felt no value in your post, so we are even. Beer in vending machines? Yes, it is a bit strange when they have a legal drinking age, but then they let you into the country, so go figure. Every country has it's problems. Yours has the fact that you live there. On the plus side, you really seem to have a skill with :( on a repetitive basis. Good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… I like exclamation points)
Now, run along. |
